Using points to upgrade question...
Hi,
I called Skywards this morning to see if it as possible to upgrade our flight (just about to book it, but wanted to know the ins and outs of upgrading) The flight is SYD-MAN/BHX.
We have 76,000 ish points each and that covers the whole flight
However, the guy said that we could only upgrade on certain days. Anybody any idea why? Luckily we are flexible..we wanted to go Saturday 15th September, but can't travel till 17th if we want to upgrade.
Also, we have to book through my husbands companies' agent. Does it make a difference if we ask for a flexi- ticket. Any advice would be great. We are silver, by the way.
