We're finally once again going to enjoy a BA long distance in Club World, connecting through LHR T3, but with very long connection times.
We have always favoured BA First to any other lounge in Europe (now except for TK in IST perhaps).
Although our (couple) flight is on BA metal, I have entered my AB sapphire card number into the reservation due to my decission earlier this year to concentrate my oneworld movements on this in future (Exec Club Service in Germany not recommendable and AB offers local advantages like priority parking) and reach emerald status there this year. A decission I might regret seeing the state of AB, but too late to reverse.
My Executive Club emerald card is still valid, but my experience is once two card numbers are entered into the reservations the credit will always go to th wrong one.
Anyone here know if we will have access to First lounge by only presenting the BA card or will it need to be entered into the reservation manually and be taken out manually at the gate again?
