6 minutes on the phone with India desk and my conflict is taken care of.
Just made a 6 minute call to United and got the India help desk as it is after midnight EST. The rep was good and very simple. I had researched alternatives beforehand and fed him what I wanted and took him moments to make the switch.
Originally booked to depart EYW at 13:10 and system rescheduled me to depart at 6:40 to fly to Tampa then fly to FLL then fly to EWR. This is for a wedding so a 6:40 am flight is definitely not in the cards.
Just happy with how it was handled and the insanely quick call.
Also this was a package booked with ORBITZ and their system didn't alert me even though the change was made 6 days ago. Fail Orbitz. Pass United.
