Cash is a massive issue.. I am scientist so not the best remunerated.. But I travel a bit for work..

Again: What are people's thoughts about last minute bargains? Either redemption or $$?

Of course being a true FT-er.. I do look at this as an opportunity to send my wife and daughter on miles and pay for my own ticket and perhaps make UA plat this year
