Hopefully this is a stupid question with an easy answer.

I booked CW through a travel agent and only discovered 3 days after I flew the first leg that he hadn't added my BAEC number to the booking so I haven't got the Avios or the tier points for that flight. I've since added my BAEC number to the booking reference through the BA site, but the tier/avios points still aren't showing on my account and I can't use the claim missing Avios facility on the BA site because it needs a ticket number, which wasn't shown on either my e-ticket or my boarding pass.

Will BA automatically credit the points for the first flight after I do the return leg or do I need to chase my travel agent for the ticket number? I wouldn't normally make a fuss about this, but the tier points will take me to Bronze, which may not be much but the 25% bonus will come in handy.
