I booked a flight on Orbitz from SFO to LAX to NRT(Narita). It is all under one itinerary. The first part of the flight (SFO-LAX) is US Airways flight operated by United Airlines and the second part (LAX-NRT) is Malaysia Airlines. I went to United's site to check reservation and I got this message,

"A modification has been made to your itinerary. Please contact United Reservations to have your ticket reissued."

When I saw it, I contacted Orbitz, and they said that the reservation looked fine and there were no problems. I kind of don't want to call United since I have heard other people's horror stories of long waits and hours spent talking on phone.

I just wanted to know if a representative from United can help me out here? I heard of someone named UA Insider. I hate to spend hours on the phone with United just to find out it is a website issue and nothing is wrong with my reservations.

This is my first time posting in the forums. Forgive me in advance if this is in the wrong area.

UPDATE #1: I just called United. The call only took 10 minutes which was good. They confirmed that they could see the reservation and that the flights and times are correct, but the CSR could not look into it more as to why there was a problem. I think she said at one point it could be "out of sync". She told me that since it was reserved through Orbitz, that I should call them. On Friday, I had already contacted Orbitz about this and they said it was "good to go" and there were no issues. I plan on contacting Orbitz again, just to make sure, but it looks like everything is good.

I just don't like seeing that message on my reservation at United. I just don't want any surprises later.

UPDATE #2: I just got an email back from Orbitz and they confirmed that there have been no changes to my reservation and that I am still good to go.
