My Dad died and as part of the settlement of his estate it has been decided that I will receive his (formerly CO, now UA) frequent flier miles.

I know that previously with CO in case of a person's death one would write a letter requesting a transfer from a deceased person's FF account along with a copy of the will showing that you're a beneficiary of the estate along with a copy of the death certificate. CO would then transfer the miles without any fees.

Does anyone know if this is still the procedure? If this is no longer the case, how is such a matter handled now?
