FYI... WiFi is on, at least in one of the planes that have been fitted with it. Flew a 757 last Friday LAX-ORD that had new seats (24 in F) and WiFi available. Worked fine. A very pleasant surprise. For what it's worth, the gate screens indicated WiFi was available, as did the boarding passes.

For the longest time WiFi was installed on refurb'd 57s but was switched off as they awaited FAA approval to turn in on in a new aircraft type. Obviously they've received that approval.
