Since you're staying there a month I'd suggest staying in Patong but not right in the middle of Paradise Complex. It's busy from 10 pm to 3 am but during the day it's empty and dull. You can rent a scooter for around US$5 per day (cheaper than one tuk tuk ride) so location isn't really a big deal as long as you're in Patong.

I have a condo in Phuket so I haven't stayed in these places for a while but my recollection is that both Aquarius and Connect's rooms are very small, dark, and may feel a bit claustrophobic after a while. Club One Seven is by far the nicer place with a small pool and a nice lounge/restaurant area. Prior to buying my condo I stayed at Club One Seven often. People there - both staff and guests - are friendly so if you get tired of being alone you can hang out in the lounge or pool area with a coffee or drink. It is, however, probably going to be a bit more expensive than the other two.
