They don't qualify for cc purchase points from Hyatt. You still get the reduced points, just not the same as you would spending at Hyatt.

Well it is an 8% saving out of pocket, so you have to ask if the points bonus are work it over the 8% savings. If it is not your pocket, that is a whole different question.
