I book G fares to HNL all the time. They are upgradeable.

I always start off my call with, "Where are you located?" If the answer is Tampa, Salt Lake or Houston. I thank them and tell them I need a PMUA agent, hang up and call back. If the answer is Chicago, Detroit, or Honolulu, I will request the upgrade.

The only time I speak with a PMCO agent is when it is about a CO specific benefit they brought to the new UA, like the 24 hour change.
