Check your account to make sure they didn't charge you for it. The fact that it's R4/RN4 doesn't mean that a CPU will clear, it just means that a supported upgrade will clear (RPU, miles, etc). I've had 2 occasions now where agents have cleared "complimentary" upgrades for me over the phone, only to find out they had used either a RPU or miles to pay for it...
