Platinum members have 4PM check out and it take some time to clean the room/suites. This property is PLT heavy at times (during the weekends at least).

Maybe you should have asked? If I am at a property that I haven't visited before and don't get a welcome letter explaining the Platinum benefits, I ask them to print me one.

If I am going out out Silom Soi 4 and/or 2 or going to watch "cultural" show, this is the property I normally book.

SGS & St Regis don't have a club lounge either. Plaza Athenee does but I rather have my breakfast there at the restaurant and the happy hour at the bar instead of the lounge.
