Are you certain that you have the card which offers 2X points for shipping? The card with this feature was introduced in August 2011. If your card account was opened earlier this feature would not apply, unless you negotiated an exception. Older accounts offered threshold bonuses for total spending. These were replaced by the category bonuses.
