There really are some flight attendants (maybe 10-20%) that are in love with the sound of their own voice. They can take 2-3x as long as they need to with all kinds of syropy crap.
Good to hear that the FAs are in love with something, as I'm pretty sure most don't love their job. Grumpasaurus Rex comes to mind... Maybe they are yelling to show their displeasure, hiding it behind a fake smile.
