If you enjoy hiking, cycling, beer, and small towns then I humbly suggest the Fränkische Schweiz (Franconian Switzerland). Lots of hiking and biking trails, numerous breweries and biergartens, small picturesque villages, and rock climbing if you are so inclined. In fact, there exist beer hikes that meander from one brewery/biergarten to another.
