Update
So here is what is happening:
1.Tumi does listen to its customers.I posted some feedback on their website mentioning my current location as India.After a week or so their Tumi representative in India did call me.He did offer to help,so I will be getting a new 4th Gen Hook.
2.If your in the US/UK etc then just call Tumi and if your bag is within a year ,then they will send you the 4th Gen Hook free of cost.
Hope it helps.No more duct tape,get the real stuff.
PS:Is anyone using the T Tech Garment bag,I wanted to know how it is performing otherwise.Honestly after the hook episode,I am seriously thinking of returning the bag for a full refund.Let me know!
