So this struck me as odd at LAX. The PreCheck line was Empty the morning I used it, the other lines about 15-20 deep in people waiting to get their IDs checked. I saw two people in front of me not get the 3 beeps and get re-directed to one of the standard lines post ID check, mine beeped so I got to go through pre-check. But as I went through I couldn't help but wonder what would stop me from pretending to be qualified Every time, and just skipping the regular ID check lines Every time?
