As far as I'm aware all aircraft with crew rest have the new product - so if you're flying direct to the Americas or Australasia you can't get stuck with old seats. Prestigious routes like CDG/ SIN will rarely if ever get the old product, whereas low yield routes such as CGK/ MNL are more likely to get these.
Well, I always tend to hope that too, but if you check flights like EK421 PER-DXB in Jan. 2012: 3/31 flights: no Suites, no lie flats, never ever mentioned on MMB or Services by flight...that made it almost a chance of 10% for podsy...same accounts for CDG, HAM, MUC,... barely a single month without equipment changes
