Could I open the AMEX rewards (platinum) and recieve 50000 points. Later to be transferred into 50000 Avios.

Then open a AMEX BA plat card for the 2-4-1 Voucher.

After three months close the Amex rewards get a refund of remaining fee, continue to use the BA AMEX??

Currently use the Plat BMI Mastercard (1.5 BMI miles (or is it 2x) - ??) but looking to start collecting BA miles due to the death of the golden goose - !!

p.s Realise i could continue to collect and keep transferring though this has a shelf life - ....!!
