Booked King Leisure on points; received same

How are the rooms?
Bland (most unlike any other Indigo rooms) and very small (luggage rack is stored under the bed; no seating area other than desk chair). Bathroom is poorly designed with combined toilet/shower area. Very noisy - as well as trains going past, the room I had was close to the area where rubbish was stored (which was collected at 6am) and there is a building being demolished next door

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A - there are a couple of nice public patios though

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
Really nice public areas
Friendly staff
Looks like there will be a good restaurant in the near future (at the moment, you're directed to another hotel)

Tiny, bland rooms
Bizarre bathroom
Noisy

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Poor value (although obviously Santa Barbara is quite expensive in the summer). Would not return - unfortunately I don't think there's anything that can be done to improve the property. The HIX is far better
