Was flying AF, and at CDG my boarding pass showed Sky Team Elite, not Elite + and I did not have my card with me. When I checked in, they told me DL Gold was not Elite+ and therefore I couldn't get into the SC. It might have helped to have my card although the Sky Team Elite + symbol is so small I'm not sure they could have read it anyway. Eventually, I went to the SC and the desk agent looked me up and let me in, however, I now carry my card when I travel internationally.
