If you let the front desk know you are a Gold member, they may allow your benefits. But, it is up to the hotel. You can also place your hhonors number on the reservation in the comments section (or on the res) after it's booked, so the hotel will know your status. But, if you change to your name, neither will get credit.
So, you cannot book in your name and place your number, but she get credit even if she is with you. (reward stays do still get credit, so if she wants the stay credit you have to leave it in her name since it's going to be the two of you travelling together--- in which case, less likely to get your benefits).
