1. Yes the buffet is served in the restaurant. You can sit at the bar, or at a table. The buffet was in a small side room.
2. Yes, you have to choose between the 1000 points or the breakfast. This is done under your myway preferences. If you are staying more than 2 or 3 days, I would go with the breakfast.
3. Yes, the provide upgrades *BUT* only if space is available. I went last year over New Years and was not upgraded. While the upgrade is nice, I didn't dwell on it because I spent a majority of my time exploring the island.
