Hamburg yesterday: the boarding pass did not reflect status. I asked the GA about the lounge. She said just to just show my Platinum card at the lounge.

The lounge agent looks at the card, types in some information into her computer, then lets me in. International: the card matters more than it used to. They used to give lounge passes at check-in in HAM - - no more. I'm glad I had it in VCE two weeks ago too for the same reason.
