Flight 127 direct YYT - YEG with a "stop" in YYZ, yeah that worked out

Hour late out of YYT, as we taxi into YYZ I check My handy BB app and sure enough AC127 is still on time out of YYZ.

As we pull in I see a plane leaving the gate AC127 was supposed to leave from, so I figure out what's happening.

Sure enough, they announce revised gates for everyone but YEG destined passengers, and then say this plane won't be going to YEG We will be switching planes ( to the one that just left I am guessing)

I ask gate attendant and sure enough I show as being on a possible 3 other flights. So I go to infamous AC customer service in YYZ, 1 person on duty

I end up at the desk with 1 of the other passengers on same flight and have to explain it the them as no one has told customer service ( line was 40 deep by then)

In the end everyone spread out over the next 3 flights YEG today, I'm on 7:15 and in J as they upgraded me, everyone else on standby for that plane and booked on the 2 later ones.

I guess Elite is worth at least a comp upgrade and 4 hours in YYZ MLL , like I don't spend enough time here
