Ok OP I'm still confused. Will you be traveling enough every year starting in 2013 that you would make EXP each year. If not, you will likely be spending thousands of dollars not to mention hours of your free time on MRs between now and year end just to make EXP for another year and then you are faced with the same situation next year.
If the OP is not going to requalify for EXP an ongoing basis would it not be more economical and better time wise to take that thousands spent on MRs and do a copay with miles or even hunt for a cheap J International fare instead. The OP can buy stickers for any domestic travel.
OP, how many EQMs/EQPs/EQS do you have now. If not much, you do realize that you would need to be MRs just about every weekend between now and year end and some of that (any flying in the next few weeks and around holidays) will not come cheap.
