I flew with EVA from YVR to BKK the last 3 times I vacationed in Thailand with no problem at all. However, this time I wanted to fly with China Air as EVA cancelled a coworker's flight from BKK to TPE a couple of years ago. Has anyone ever got a China Air cancellation flight out of TPE or a long delay for more than an hour? I need to connect with Bangkok Air (3 hours lay over in BKK) and can't afford to miss it. My other option is to book Bangkok Air when we arrive in BKK and see what is available. Travel time is peak season for Thailand (mid January).
