As for comparing the Deltamatic front end to SHARES, there's no comparison. I've seen Deltamatic in action at the gate, and it's lightyears ahead of SHARES, and much more comparable to FastAir.
The interface is intuitive, it's a mix of text and graphics, it has fields you fill in and tab to.
Well, as a passenger who has seen various systems in action at the gate, I guess you know what is best. I know you are on a mission to trash SHARES at every possible opportunity, but the praise you're heaping on Deltamatic really says a lot.
