Same Day Standby - Neighbor Island Flights

The below passengers have the ability to standby for an earlier flight on the day of departure for Neighbor Island flights:

Pualani Platinum members
Pualani Gold members
Premier Club members
Customers who have purchased Hawaiian Coach Plus fares
Corporate Customers that have booked through the Corporate Web Portal
These passengers may stand by for an earlier flight at the airport without a charge, as long as you request standby more than 30 minutes prior to flight departure and provided you have not already checked in any baggage.

Eligible guests who want to standby for an earlier flight must advise the agent at the time they present their bags for check-in. The bags must be tagged for the flight on which they wish to standby.

Procedure
Check in for your scheduled flight (you can use Web Check-In or the kiosk at the airport)
Notify an agent at a service podium before security that you have a Hawaiian Coach Plus ticket and that you would like to standby for flight #__. For passengers in Honolulu, passengers can proceed through security and notify the service podium agent inside the gate area above gate 56. Please understand that we cannot assist at the gates due to time and resource constraints.
You should be listed for your desired stand by flight 30 minutes or more prior to departure. Once it is within 30 minutes of the scheduled flight departure, agents cannot add anyone to the standby list.
The agent will keep your original confirmed flight intact, but will add your name(s) on a standby basis to the flight of your choice.
