As we did last year, this year's funds will go to further support two groups of disadvantaged rural school commuities. One of these is the same that we supported last year, and we have added a second one.

As usual, we will have presentation material on these schools, and we will be showing you documentation on what we do with the funds we collect... this is a collective effort between my wife Rossana, my aunt Lucy (she is a retired public school teacher) and I chip in a little effort now and then.

Things are very tough for these kids... just last week the Teacher/Principal (the guy is the one and only person in charge so he does these two jobs and more) contacted my wife to give his monthly progress report. The Economy is doing so badly in some of these rural areas with government subsidies not flowing as usual that things are very tough. Luckily, we were able to collect a few donations from our kids school comunity and we just purchased AR$900 worth of food which will be delivered to the kids later this week.

As I posted before, this year we will be asking for a AR$150 per person contribution (cash please) for each of the wine events. For those that will be double dipping, both programs will be completetly different so those that do decide to join for Mondays WT will get to try a complete new lineup of wines.
