Hello,

I travel to Switzerland from NYC once a month for work. I have been loyal to UA and am now at gold status (may reach platinum this year) but as I ONLY travel to Europe from NYC I am NEVER upgraded. I rarely travel within the US. That said, I am thinking of transferring my loyalties next year. I can fly with any European carrier -- Lufthansa, Swiss, Air France, etc. Would just log my miles with them as opposed to UA. Recommendations for who I should go with in terms of possibilities of upgrades, quality of flights, and potential to redeem miles?
