Since the change was at your request, I think you'll need to accept 10TPs fewer, unless you want to have it changed to a higher fare class to increase your TP.

I do not think you can request the 10 extra TPs - well you can, but I don't think they will be granted. If BA forced the change by cancelling your flight or bumping you off the flight, it would have been a different matter though.
