You will only get it if its not possible to connect onto a flight on the same day e.g TIP-LHR-IAH. It also needs to be a full fare ticket.

I would likely use the arrivals lounge for a shower and lazy breakfast until 12 and then maybe go somewhere like Windsor or Central London until about 5 before heading back to T3 for a nice spa treatment and a few drinks before your BKK flight.
