That's going back a few years! I think it's now called the CCR, but the only time I've been offered a day room at a LHR hotel is when there is a really bad irrops. You can book online a day room at the Sofitel in T5 at your own expense, but personally I'd pop into London and do something you've never done/seen before. E.g. the British Museum has major exhibitions on Shakespeare's imprint on London, and a free exhibition on the story of the horse. Followed by a nice supper.
