Yah the PP is comparable to the Aloft, though I do prefer the bathrooms at the PP over the Aloft, but Aloft lobby and public space are superior to the PP though.

Soi18 is a much quieter Soi than 11, which can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for, both are similar distances into the Soi from Sukhumvit, and take similar amounts of time to walk to BTS

My prefered hotel though has become the Radisson Suites on Soi13 just around the corner from the Aloft, it is in my opinion the best value of the three Club Carlson properties in BKK. Points and cash rates can be found from around 1200Baht and 5000 points a night, Also there is a big difference between a Superior and a Studio Deluxe room here, which is the basic one category upgrade, unlike the PP.

I am actually staying here right now in one of the Premiere one bedroom Suites(will post a review upon checkout). The only downside right now is the they are building a new 100,000 square foot private residence next door, and there can be some noise from the construction, but it hasn't been a bother to me as I get up early.
