Really that much

I could pay QF for a Business Class sales fare with that kind of premium on top of a regular economy fare for that, and get points and status credits.

I submitted a $100 bid for NZ105, since I'm still Gold, it should count as $130.. I will report back how it goes.....

That is much more likely to succeed unless you have a number of GE wanting to bid against you.
