The reason I posted in this Forum was because to a large extent BA played a role in this ~ and AA service leaves a lot to be desired if you're not using their metal. It's a small thing really, but the miles do add up ~ not only that but I like to show activity.
It's hard to say if they did. I mean it seems impossible to know if it is BA who 'didn't supply the FFP information' or AA who did not credit the miles despite having them, but either way, as others mentioned, your only point of contact is AA Advantage. Sadly, missing mileage credit is frequent across all programmes so worth reminding Jr about keeping his boarding cards if he cares about the lovely free tickets he'll get
