Done this before!

U have to call Aeroplan to book.

My booking is always

YYZ-LAX - AC Spend a few days in LA.... ie. Arrive Monday leave friday
LAX-HNL - UA
HNL-SFO or HNL-LAX or HNL-ORD - UA
SFO-YYZ or LAX-YYZ or ORD-YYZ - AC
