It is a 747-400, nothing wrong with this, you will find that as time progresses most flyers will prefer this over the new half cabins which crowd the nose of the 747, perfectly alright for the A380 though. If you gave me a choice of Business on Singapore or First on Thai, I would go for Thai. I know it sounds strange but I do not feel secure or cxomfortable in those wide seats on Singapore, but I would fly first on any airline as against business
