Everything on SQ is predictable and J seats are great.
On TG F you are never sure of what you get.
Personally, I prefer SQ J to TG F on their 747s (except the very-new F which I have not tried). And if you have to choose between SIN-BKK-FRA and nonstop SIN-FRA, this would be a no-brainer to me.
