1) Unless that starts happening across all SPG properties, it's not a given it's a retreat in SPG bennies. They're talking about a specific property, not a systemwide cutback.
2) The best place to read about reductions in SPG bennies is in the SPG forum. @:-) Those who are interested in the 'dust up' will get more info there.
3) I think this should get merged into the Niagara Falls thread because you're reporting on the Marriott property & what they did for you when the lounge was full. MARRIOTT elites are probably more interested in that than they are in a different chain's property specific policy.
4) Whether the mod decides to merge this thread (if he decides to merge) w/ the sticker price thread or the overall Niagara Falls thread where someone looking for info on what the Niagara Marriott property does re: brekkie is up to him.
