Thanks for your post. With respect, the current process is lousy and wastes everyone's time......both mine and the LANPASS agent's. Oneworld should have a way to at least search and identify oneworld award availability systemwide even if one must then call an agent to book the award. At least one could do all the grunt work by oneself on the computer and then call the agent with flights already chosen. As it stands, its like shooting in the dark and hoping you hit something......yet usually you don't. Honestly I had no idea the process was so rudimentary and ineffective. I am really quite shocked how this works (or doesn't). If I have to call the EXP desk and AA revenue management to sort this out, there is something terribly wrong with how this all works.
