Clearly LAN.com is broken.
Whereas AA.com simply does not have that functionality.
You are right, the LAN website gives the impression that you can book OW partner tickets on line......when it seems this cant actually be done. Really somewhat misleading if you ask me.
Fast forward to today. I called LANPASS and we looked at ten different itineraries for this week for my trip. Looked at originating from IAH/HOU/DFW and going to LAS or SAN. Response from the LANPASS agent was there is no availability. In all cases, AA.com is showing milesaver availability for an Aadvantage award. Honestly, it just seems like a scam to me. Probably I am over-reacting but if AA will issue me an award ticket, why won't LA? As it stands, it seems my 90k km's will expire at the end of August. I'm not very impressed with LAN or LANPASS right now.
