A week ago I came back from my first RTW trip. We flew Air Canada, Asiana, Thai, Turkish and Brussels airlines, all segments in business class. Fortunately for us, we were not downgraded but I could not agree more with you regarding the rudeness of the TK's flight attendants, in my case from BKK to IST. With the exception of the chef on board, I had the impression that they simply did not want to be bothered. What a difference when I compare with the service we received in the other long-haul flights or even the short haul one with Brussels airlines from Praga to Brussels. I wonder how they managed to be voted "best airline in Europe"
Thank you for sharing your experience, and I am glad that in your case there were no major incidents apart from the rudeness of the FAs. Perhaps again my wife and I have been especially unlucky but I do not think Turkish is the airline one wants to be flying when something goes wrong.
Also, agreed, as I mentioned above we had previously flown Swiss, Asiana and Singapore airlines on the same itinerary, and incidents apart, just the service was like day and night when compared to Turkish's.
