The flight was full but the crew were top class. The Champagne had been iced and the drinks were in the aisle in less than 8 mins from departure. The catering was nothing less than excellent - My fish (the other option was chicken) was delicious and beautifully cooked - not dry or flaky. Excellent.
I short the flight was really most pleasant and we arrived a bit early. Was it worth it - well at what we paid it was. I saw on BA.co that the last seats were selling at over £800 one way! That for CE is too much but otherwise it was delightful.
Thanks for this. So, if I'm reading this correctly, whilst many so far would agree that the "hard product", the seat itself, may not be worth what BA is currently charging for the upgrade (especially for passengers who already receive lounge, fastrak, etc. benefits), the difference in the experience, in cabin service, is ineed worth it?
(proably a "to each his own" type of judgement call, I suppose...)
