Visit is now only weeks away!
Thanks to award availability and my own stupidity, my six day trip has been extended to ~9. Thought I'd bump this with my current plans to see if there's any additional advice. Most of the stuff here is flexible, with the days just a guideline.

After this, the current plan is to take a train down to Portsmouth, then a ferry to France (Portsmouth - Caen). Which reminds me, I really need to start planning that portion of the journey
