As I mentioned on another thread, I have 90k km's that expire at the end of August. Being based in the US, it seems the best use of these km's for me is to book a domestic trip on AA. I decided to try and go to SAN from IAH and I began my search for flights on LAN.com. Bottom line is it will not allow me to book any AA flights even though there are a wide variety of flight options available. The booking system they have seems very rudimentary and simplistic....and doesn't work. I am forced to call Lanpass who are not available until business hours on Monday. Also, their recording states that I will be charged a fee for calling them rather than booking on-line. Really? Even if the on-line booking tool can't complete the transaction?

Anyone have any advice on how to easily book AA km redemption flight on LAN.com? Am I missing something? BTW, I know therer are plenty of open flight options available as AA.com is showing plenty of mileagesaver flight options in both directions. Help!!
