Looks like you can redeem MR for 1:1.02 for gift cards at RC, MO and FS. So the big question is, can you book a FHR stay, hold it using your Plat or Cent AMEX and at checkout pay for the bulk of the stay with these gift cards?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I only found this specific thread when searching.
