which airline are you flying and which class? do you have FF status with the airline you're flying and / or the alliance it belongs in?

If your flight is leaving at 8, with no status and flying coach I would show up at 6:15am at the earliest. with status and or C or F, 6:45 am.

To be at CDG at 6:15am, being fully checked out of PHV by 5:40 am is more than enough time to get you there with a taxi. To be at CDG by 6:45 am, if you leave by 5:50 am you should be fine.
